Brackets, brackets, brackets!

 
1. This ring clamps around the motor and provides support for the alternator and A/C compressor bracket via the welded bolt (bottom R/H corner). 2. This is the ring clamped in place. Note the bolt which screws into the motor to locate it. The ring was made by cold bending flat bar around the motor.
3. This is the alternator and A/C compressor bracket. 4. This is it bolted to the end plate and ring.
5. The fabricated pulley hub is key-locked and Loctited to the motor shaft. The shaft was shortened by about 10mm to allow the pulley to clear chassis rail. 6. The ICE pulley was machined out to fit custom hub.
 
7. And is held in place with a bolt and large machined washer and Loctite. 8. The alternator bolted in place.
9. The motor (engine) mount in place 10. The lower A/C compressor bracket bolted on.
 
11. The A/C compressor and motor mount installed in-situ. 12. Then the alternator.
13. The alternator belt tension bracket. 14. A view in-situ from the front R/H wheel well.
 
15. The motor bus bar made from copper flat bar and heat shrink. (Note: Photo taken before the motor was painted black!) 16. All done!
